Mumbai: Janhvi Kapoor has spoken about the relationship break-ups surrounding her family and close circle for the first time on Koffee With Karan 9. Appearing on the popular chat show alongside Varun Dhawan, with Arjun Kapoor joining as a special guest, the actress discussed how they supported one another through difficult times. She also revealed her wedding plans with boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya.
The episode, which aired on October 28, featured candid conversations, playful exchanges and revelations about the personal lives of the guests.
Janhvi Kapoor Talks About Three Break-Ups Around Her
During the conversation, host Karan Johar brought up the relationship changes involving people close to Janhvi. He remarked that the group had managed to stay together despite being surrounded by break-ups.
The relationships in question included Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s separation, Khushi Kapoor’s reported break-up with Vedang Raina, and the reported split between Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya.
Janhvi explained that they had supported one another while dealing with their respective relationship troubles. She said they had become good at managing difficult situations together, even when they were facing personal challenges of their own.
Janhvi’s Dating Advice for Vedang, Khushi and Veer
Karan also asked Janhvi to share dating advice for Vedang Raina, Khushi Kapoor and Veer Pahariya. Her responses were brief but playful.
For Vedang, she advised him to stop overthinking. When it came to her sister Khushi, Janhvi suggested that she did not need any advice at the moment.
Her comment for Veer was more intriguing. Janhvi said, “Never take her to a concert.”
The remark appeared to allude to the controversy surrounding Tara Sutaria’s appearance with singer AP Dhillon during his Mumbai concert. The incident fuelled online speculation about Tara and Veer’s relationship, with reports of a possible separation subsequently emerging.
However, neither Tara nor Veer has publicly confirmed the reported break-up, and Janhvi did not explicitly name Tara while giving her advice.
When Does Janhvi Kapoor Plan to Get Married?
The conversation also turned to Janhvi’s own relationship with Shikhar Pahariya. When Karan asked about her wedding plans, the actress made it clear that marriage was not on her immediate agenda.
Janhvi said she did not expect to get married for at least another two to three years. Her response offered a glimpse into her current plans without suggesting that a wedding date had been decided.
Varun Dhawan Shares His Views on Meeting Ex-Partners
Varun Dhawan also opened up about relationships during the episode. Asked whether he would be comfortable meeting his former partners, the actor said that he was married and happy with his current life.
He added that his former partners could make their own choices, while he was content with where he was in life.
